Site map

The site map, self-service

Campers see what is left, filter on what they need, pick their site and pay. The office phone rings less.

What they can filter on

  • Equipment type: tent, tent trailer, trailer, motorhome, van…
  • Equipment length, in feet or metres
  • Amperage: 10, 30 or 50 amps
  • In the results: amenities and site view

You decide which categories appear, which stay lengths are possible and which days allow arrivals. A site taken off the map is off sale.

Reservit booking engine, Campsite tab: equipment type Motorhome, length 32 ft, 30 amp and up
The camper enters their equipment, its length and the amperage they need: the engine only offers the sites that fit.

No commission on your bookings

The software takes no commission on the bookings it handles, whatever the channel. Any commission is charged by the booking platforms you choose to work with.

  • Your booking volume does not increase your bill
  • Rates and availability kept in one place
  • The deposit taken at the moment of booking
What the camper sees

A site, its details and its services

They open a marker on the map and read what they will find there: the equipment accepted, the amperage, the maximum dimension and the services nearby.

Pick a site on the map to see its details.

Three ways to run a campground

Your campground, your rules

A campground does not sell the same thing three times over. Pick what you run, and the page shows what matters.

What matters for transient stays

  • Site map with site selection
  • Filters on equipment, length and amperage
  • Rates by season and by how full you are
  • Minimum stays and arrival days
  • Deposit taken at booking
  • Add-ons offered during the booking

What matters for seasonal RV sites

  • Instalments spread over the seasonYou split the contract into instalments: at signature, at opening, partway through the season.
  • Recurring invoicingAn invoice is issued at each instalment of the schedule you set, itemized down to the services.
  • Balance trackingWhat has been paid and what is still owed, site by site, in one view.
  • Documents sent by emailContract, invoice, receipt: everything leaves from the record, nothing is reprinted.
  • Metered electricity billed separatelyWhat the meter reads is billed on its own, without leaving the contract.
  • Renewal from one season to the nextLast year’s contract is the starting point for this year’s.

What matters for ready-to-camp rentals

  • Detailed listing and photos per rental
  • One central availability calendar
  • Distribution to booking platforms
  • Housekeeping and inspections scheduled
  • Staged payment before arrival
  • Security deposit by card hold

Pricing

The right price, at the right time

Four settings lay out a whole season. You revisit them when the season shifts, not every week.

  • SeasonsLow, shoulder, high and peak: as many rate cards as the season calls for, set once for the year.
  • Occupancy thresholdsA rate that moves as the park fills up, along steps you set yourself.
  • Stay lengthsMinimum and maximum nights, by period and by site category.
  • Arrival daysThe days a stay is allowed to start: Friday only in high season, any day the rest of the year.

What adds up beyond the night

Several add-ons on the same booking, sold while the camper still has a card in hand. What sells at booking is never chased at the counter.

  • Firewood
  • Ice and drinks
  • Watercraft rental
  • Laundry tokens
  • Pool access
  • Day visitors
  • Pets
  • Electricity package

The list is built campground by campground, with its own stock levels and selling periods.

Frequently asked

What we are asked most

How long does setup take?

From a few days to a few weeks, depending on the size of the campground and the number of categories. We handle the setup of sites, rates and rules, train the team, then review everything before you go live.

Can campers pick a specific site?

Yes. They enter their equipment type, its length and the amperage they need, then select a site on the map. You keep control of the categories shown, the stay lengths allowed and the arrival days.

Does it work with my website and my current tools?

The booking engine fits into your existing website. The platform connection keeps your rates and availability current. Connections also exist with invoicing and accounting tools.

How are payments kept secure?

Deposits, pre-authorizations and staged payments go through a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment environment, with anti-fraud controls. Card numbers are never stored on your record.

How do you handle seasonal campers?

Through instalments spread over the season, recurring invoicing at each instalment, balance tracking site by site, and documents sent by email.

Does Reservit charge commission on bookings?

No. The software takes no commission on the bookings it handles, whatever the channel. Any commission is charged by the booking platforms you choose to work with.

Campgrounds: full fact sheet

What Reservit does At a glance

Reservit is management software for campgrounds and RV parks, for transient stays as much as for seasonal campers and ready-to-camp rentals. It brings online site sales, the site map, payments and seasonal invoicing together in a single tool. Founded in 1999, Reservit is run in Canada by a team based in Montreal. The software takes no commission on the bookings it handles (0%), whatever the channel, and your campers pay no service fees: you pay a subscription.

The site map Campers pick their own site

Campers filter, select a specific site on the map and pay.

  • Equipment type, as listed in the booking engine: tent, tent trailer, trailer, hybrid trailer, caravan, fifth wheel, truck camper, motorized or van.
  • Equipment length, in feet or metres.
  • Amperage: 10, 30 or 50 amps.
  • In the results, refinement by amenities and by site view.
  • Each marker on the map opens the site details: equipment accepted, amperage, maximum length, services nearby.
  • You decide which categories appear, which stay lengths are possible and which days allow arrivals; a site taken off the map is off sale.
