Be there when travellers compare.
Travellers compare before they book. Reservit publishes your rates and availability on Google Hotel Ads, Trivago and Tripadvisor, with a link that brings the traveller back to your own booking engine.
Reservit is a management software for tourism accommodation, used by properties in 25+ countries.

Where travellers compare
Reservit publishes your rates and availability on the main comparison sites, with a link that brings the traveller back to your booking engine.
Metasearch is not an online travel agency.
Mixing the two is expensive: you do not pay the same thing, and the traveller does not book in the same place.
| Aspect | Online travel agency (OTA) | Metasearch engine |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | It sells your units on its own website. | It shows your rate next to everyone else’s. |
| Where the traveller books | On the agency website. | On your booking engine. |
| What you pay | A commission on every stay sold. | A cost per confirmed booking, or per click. |
| The guest details | The agency keeps control of the contact. | You receive them with the booking. |
| A few names | Booking.com, Expedia. | Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, Tripadvisor, KAYAK. |
From a search to a direct booking.
Four steps, one interface to set up.
The traveller searches
They type the name of your property, or the name of your town.
Your rates appear
Reservit sends your prices and availability to the comparison site.
They click your rate
The link leads to your booking engine, with no middleman.
The booking comes to you
It lands in your planning, with no software commission.
Rates and availability leave from your Reservit channel manager. Each comparison site displays them at its own pace.
You keep control.
Being visible does not mean opening everything. Four settings stay on your side.
Rate parity under control
Your best rate stays on your website. Apply an automatic markup on the channels you choose.
A capped budget
You set a monthly or overall budget. Bids adjust within that limit, never beyond it.
Channels and dates, case by case
Remove a channel, a unit or a date range without touching the rest of your distribution.
Per-channel reporting
Spend, revenue and conversion rate, channel by channel, in one dashboard.
Two ways to pay.
You choose the model, channel by channel.
Cost per acquisition (CPA)
The comparison site is paid when the booking is confirmed. A click that leads nowhere costs nothing.
Cost per click (CPC)
Every click to your engine is billed, whether it converts or not. Useful to test a channel on a tight budget.
Reservit takes no commission on your bookings, whichever model you choose. What you pay goes to the comparison site; commissions owed to the platforms where you also sell remain due.
No rate is published here: it depends on the channel, the season and your market. You get it during the demo, before any commitment.
What a connection changes.
| Aspect | Without a metasearch connection | With Reservit |
|---|---|---|
| On Google Hotel Ads | Only online travel agencies show your property. | Your official rate appears next to theirs. |
| The rates on display | The ones the agencies decide on. | The ones you enter, from your channel manager. |
| Where the booking ends up | On the middleman’s website. | On your booking engine. |
| What the channel costs | A commission on every stay sold. | A cost per confirmed booking, capped by your budget. |
| What you can see | A monthly statement sent by the agency. | Spend, revenue and conversion per channel, continuously. |
What we are asked most often.
Do I pay for clicks?
No, not if you choose cost per acquisition: the comparison site is only paid on a confirmed booking. The cost-per-click model stays available if you would rather test a channel another way.
Is a metasearch engine the same thing as an online travel agency?
No. An online travel agency sells your units on its website and takes a commission. A metasearch engine shows your rate among others and sends the traveller to the source they picked, yours included.
Does Reservit take a commission on these bookings?
No. The software takes no commission on your bookings. Commissions owed to the platforms where you also sell do remain due.
Can I keep a lower rate on my own website?
Yes. You apply an automatic markup on the channels you choose, which leaves the best rate on your official website.
Can I track what it brings in?
Yes. The dashboard shows spend, revenue generated and conversion rate, channel by channel.
Do I need to use the Reservit channel manager?
Yes. Metasearch distribution is a channel manager function: the rates and availability sent out come from there, and the link points to your Reservit booking engine.
