Do I have to use your payment solution?
No. Reservit doesn’t require you to use a specific payment provider. You can keep your current provider if they offer better rates. Our solution is an option, not an obligation.
How do automatic deposits work?
You define payment rules (percentage or fixed amount) by rate plan, room type or season. The system automatically collects the deposit at booking and can schedule the remaining balance X days before arrival.
What happens in the event of a no-show?
Since the guest’s card has been validated and pre-authorized, the agreed amount (deposit, first night or full stay) can be charged automatically. You’re protected against unexpected no-shows.
How does the fraud prevention engine work?
Our payment partners’ risk engines analyze every transaction based on your criteria: geographic consistency (IP and address), postal code validation and transaction amount thresholds. A booking is only created once the payment passes all security checks.
Is VAT handled automatically?
Yes. Reservit automatically calculates the VAT applicable to your business, as well as tourist taxes and local levies.
