Wineries and castles
Booking software for wineries and castles
Accommodation, cellar tours and the shop: three activities, one tool. Visitors book and pay online on the estate website, and the software takes no commission on those bookings.

How it works
One estate, three trades
A room, a tour slot and a bottle are not sold the same way. They are still run from the same screen, with the same customer file and the same till.
Accommodation
Castle rooms, cottages, suites: calendar, rates, deposits, arrivals and departures.
Tours and tastings
Guided departures, workshops, tastings, private hire: slots, durations and places.
The shop
Bottles, gift sets and estate produce, sold at the cellar door and taken at the counter.
Accommodation
Rooms booked on your site
The booking engine plugs into the estate website. Visitors pick their dates, pay online, and the booking lands straight in the planning.
Illustrative diagram. No customer data.
Tours and tastings
Slots, capacities and guides
A cellar tour is not a night: it has a departure time, a duration, a number of places and sometimes a guide. The Activities module holds all four.
Slots and durations
Several departures a day, a duration of its own for each tour, a calendar per season.
Capacities and groups
A number of places per departure. Selling stops at the last place, online and at the door.
Rates by profile
Adult, child, group, private hire: several rate cards on the same slot.
Prepaid or paid on site
Set tour by tour: a deposit for a private workshop, nothing for an open tour.
Shop and counter
The shop holds the same stock as the till
A bottle sold at the cellar door and a bottle carried off by a visitor come out of the same stock. That is what Reservit POS does, the estate till.
One single stock
Bottles, gift sets and estate produce tracked in a single stock position.
Payment at the counter
Fixed terminal at the cellar door, mobile terminal for a sale made in the tasting room.
Gift sets and merchandise
An estate does not only sell wine. Glasses, gift sets and local produce fit the same till.
Invoicing and follow-up
Stays, tours and sales come back into the same invoicing and the same revenue follow-up.
Customer file
One visitor, one customer file
The same guest books a room in June, comes back for a tasting in September and leaves with three bottles. Those three visits sit on the same record.
Central history
Stays, tours and purchases of one guest brought together, with no manual matching.
Promo codes and offers
A discount set on a stay, on a tour or on a gift set, with its own validity period.
Cross-selling
Offer the tour to whoever books a room, and the room to whoever books a tour.
What changes
Before, after
Five everyday tasks at an estate open to the public.
| The task | Without Reservit | With Reservit |
|---|---|---|
| Room bookings | By phone or email, copied by hand onto a paper planning | Booked and paid on the estate website, written to the planning on validation |
| Cellar tours | A booking notebook, and a count of places held from memory | Slots with a capacity: selling stops at the last place |
| Bottle sales | A till book kept apart from the rest of the business | The same stock and the same invoicing as stays and tours |
| The customer file | Split between the notebook, the till and the inbox | One record per guest, carrying all three activities |
| Commissions | Taken on every booking received through an intermediary | No commission taken by the software on direct bookings |
Frequently asked
What estates ask us most
Can rooms and guided tours be sold from the same account?
Yes. Accommodation, tours and the shop are three modules of the same software, with one login, one availability calendar and one till. There is no bridge to build between them.
Are the places left on a tour tracked automatically?
Yes. Every departure carries its own capacity. Once the last place is sold, the slot is no longer offered, whether the sale came from the estate website or from the counter.
Is a separate till system needed for the shop?
No. Reservit POS takes payment at the cellar door, on a fixed or mobile terminal, and draws on the same stock as online sales. Invoicing for all three activities lands in the same place.
Does Reservit take a commission on bookings?
No. The software takes no commission on the bookings it processes. Commissions remain those of the intermediaries a booking may travel through, if any.
Can a deposit be taken when a tour is booked?
Yes. Prepayment, deposit and payment on site are set tour by tour. A private workshop can ask for a deposit where an open tour asks for none.
Can the estate keep the website it already has?
Yes. The booking engine plugs into the existing site. Reservit can also build one, but that is not a condition for taking bookings online.
